I had never heard of this trick so I thought I’d pass it along as I just got it from Dell. This may be OEM, so it may apply to other hardware.
Enter BIOS
Turn on num, caps and scroll lock
Press ALT-E to erase the nvram
Press ALT-F to load factory defaults
Press ALT-B to reboot.
I did this through a KVMoIP so I wasn’t sure it was working until the ALT-B when the box did reset.
its not correct cause i supose if thats worked the time of machine will be back to the manufactured time
That’s quite the supposition. It did reset the settings for me. I don’t know about the time, frankly I didn’t care about resetting the time.
its work fine for me i dont need time to reset only settings thx dude !!
This appears to also work for PowerEdge R610 rackmounts. Thanks!
Works with the Dell Poweredge 800 as well.
work on poweredge t310 🙂 thanks
